 The initial entrepreneurial activity of this company started way back in 1968, when Mr. A.K. Venkatasamy, an Electrical Engineer by profession, based on his sound experience gained in a British Company by name, Bombay Company Pvt. Ltd., ventured into execution of electrical installation and electrical contracts through a partnership concern viz., M/s Shanti Enterprises Electricals Pvt Ltd., As it grew in its size and its operations widened, it became a private limited company in 1977, and a full-fledged public limited company in 1995.
It has got its own multi-stored building in the heart of the Chennai city with an equally big branch office at Bangalore. Mr. A.K.Venkatasamy is the Managing Director of this company. He is being ably assisted by Mr. P. Shanmugam and Mr. S.K. Subramanian who are the Directors.

Voltage Equipments in Tamil Nadu and 'A' Grade Contract License for
execution of High Voltage works in Kerala, Karnataka, and Andra Pradesh

The Managing Director and the two whole-time Directors are well experienced in the field of electrical installation and have executed many projects of LT, HT and EHV, Transmission, Distribution, Lighting as well as complete Turnkey Electrification systems to many medium and large scale Industrial Units in both public and private sector. Our clientele includes a large Industrial Houses, Banks, Government Bodies etc., Our association with Philips secured us a job in Libya for Lighting installation for Thermal Power Station and job was executed to the exacting demands of M/s. K&D Consultants, U.K. and quality conscious Philips Co., U.K.
The Company is fabricating and supplying switchboards, Cubic type Motor Control Centers and Bus ducts for MV distribution. In addition, the company carries out purification of Transformer oil by cold process and servicing of Transformers.
The company has been carrying out site testing of Protection Relays and Calibrating them with CFB testing kit of M/s. English Electric Company of India Ltd., Chennai for the purpose of ensuring utmost accuracy and top most quality in its execution. |
